A reception will follow the service in the reception area of the funeral home. Interment will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday at Brookside Memorial Park in Humble, family only please.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm, Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Hwy 59 N, Kingwood, Texas.
Bob Eversole was born on November 17, 1938 in Madison, Arkansas to parents, Carl Clifton Eversole and Alta (Kelley) Eversole and passed away on March 3, 2023 in Humble. He grew up in Arkansas and California before moving to Texas. He attended school at Austin High School in Houston, TX. He was a member of, Kingwood Country Club, Bass Anglers Sportsman Society and Second Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes in his youth, golfing, fishing and traveling abroad. In 1985, Bob founded American Seal Inc., and was owner and president for 20 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps assigned to Force Recon from 1956 to 1958 and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Barbara Ann (Martin) Eversole of Kingwood; daughter, Cheryl McGeough and son-in-law, Donald McGeough; daughter, Rhonda DeSpain and son-in-law, William DeSpain; grandchildren, Brian DeSpain, wife Lauren DeSpain, Chelsea Smalley, husband Lt. Col. Kevin Smalley and Stacy Grubb; great-grandchildren, Jack, Hudson, Jane, Addison and Preston; sisters, Carolyn Parker and Pat Dierschke; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Alta Eversole; brother, John Eversole; sister, Shirley Eversole; and grandson, Justin DeSpain.
Mr. Eversole will be escorted to his final resting place by pallbearers: Donald McGeough, William DeSpain, Kevin Smalley, Brian DeSpain, Jeremy Lindeman, and John Eversole, Jr.
