Barbara Catherine Flanagan

Barbara Flanagan died February 23, 2017 in Houston, TX. She was born in 1929 to Dolores and Francis Beck in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Loretto Academy and DuPage College and was employed in the airline industry for many years later becoming a Realtor in Kingwood, Texas. Barbara was a mother to seven children: Joy Zagar and husband Joe, Janet Parker and husband Dave, Timothy Barber, Thomas Barber and wife Susan, Jacqueline Gross and husband John, Mary Moran and husband Paul and William Panzenhagen and wife Mari. Barbara’s family included 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Barbara resided in Chicago, Illinois, Jupiter and Ft. Myers, Florida and Kingwood, Texas. She was a world traveler and an avid student of history. She enjoyed socializing in Kingwood with her companion Fred Konrath.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Kingwood Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at St. Martha’s Catholic Church in Porter, TX. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth, Illinois on Saturday, March 4, 2017.
