Rosalinda Hinojosa

Rosalinda N. Hinojosa passed away on April 2, 2011 at the age 53. She was born on September 14, 1957 to Lorenzo Nunez, Sr. and Josefa A. Lopez in Alice, Texas. She was a devout catholic and longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Rosalinda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel Hinojosa and her mother, Josefa A. Lopez.

Rosalinda leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Rocio Hinojosa, step-daughter, Lamar Hinojosa both from Corpus Christi, Texas; step-son, Elliott Hinojosa from Alice, Texas; granddaughter, Brooklyn Gonzalez from Corpus Christi, Texas; father, Lorenzo (Mary) Nunez, Sr. from San Diego, Texas; brothers, Lorenzo (Cynthia) Nunez, Jr. from San Diego, Texas, Daniel (Toni) Nunez from Wichita, Texas and Roel Nunez from Kingsville, Texas. Also surviving her are nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family will be receiving family members and friends on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 3:00 to 9:00 pm at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
