Mrs. Mary L. Prasek, age 83, a resident for over 50 years of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010 in Kingsville. She was born on March 28, 1927 in Halletsville, Texas to Joe and Mary Kristek. Mrs. Prasek, a devout Catholic, was a great housewife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jaro Prasek; daughter, Debbie; son, Randy; and brother, Joe.
Mrs. Prasek is survived by her son, Richard Prasek of Kingsville; two sisters, Polly and Elenor, both of Houston, Texas; and several grandchildren.
Public visitation will take place on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1400 Brookshire Drive, Kingsville, at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010 with Fr. Lee Guarnieri as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
