Dorothy Sue Rodriguez

Dorothy Sue Rodriguez, age 60, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on September 22, 1949 in San Patricio County, Texas to Eduardo Ramirez and Dorcas Escobedo Ramirez. Mrs. Rodriguez, a homemaker, was a member of Casa de Oracion.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Porfirio “Pete” V. Rodriguez of Kingsville; daughter, Rosalee Garza of Kingsville; two sons, Ronald (Mary Ann) Alfaro and Porfirio (Jennelle) Rodriguez Jr., both of Kingsville; three brothers, Robert (Tules) Ramirez and Samuel Ramirez, both of Kingsville, and Eddie (Sylvia) Ramirez of Bishop, Texas; three sisters, Santos Aguilar of Kingsville, Cylinda (Esteban) Hernandez of Ricardo, Texas and Paulina (Manuel) Carbajal of George West, Texas; and six grandchildren, Rodney Rene Garza Jr., Robby Lee Garza, Jaydon Ray Rodriguez, Michael Aaron Alfaro, Debra Jean Alfaro and Kaleb Ryan Alfaro.

Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Max Paez officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
