Corina O. Treviño, age 72, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, April 4, 2011 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on January 12, 1939 in Falfurrias, Texas to Salvador Ochoa Sr. and San Juanita Torres Ochoa. Corina was a retired KISD maintenance employee at Central Administration Building. She had worked for the school district for 22 years. Mrs. Treviño was a faithful member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Treviño was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Eloy T. Ochoa of Laredo, Texas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Amado F. Treviño Jr. of Kingsville; two sons, Amado (Jean) Treviño III of Corpus Christi and Jerry (Cathy) Treviño of Kingsville; one daughter, Velma (Alex) Flores Jr. of Kingsville; one brother, Salvador T. Ochoa Jr. of Laredo, Texas; two sisters, Gracie (Arnie) Snowberger III of Poway, California and Olga (Beto) Jimenez of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Vanessa Ann Flores of Houston, Texas, Michael (Krishna) Flores and Matthew Trevino, both of Austin, Texas, Meagan Anyse Treviño of Kingsville and Valerie Jean Flores of Corpus Christi; one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Brianna Flores of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Public visitation will take place after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2011 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church with Fr. Jose Naul Ordoñez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
