Baldemar Moreno, Jr. of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012, at the age of 61. He was born to Baldemar and Emma Elvia Moreno, Sr. on September 17, 1950, in Falfurrias, Texas. Baldemar was a truck driver. When he wasn’t on the road, he enjoyed coaching baseball. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Baldemar was also a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Jessica Benavidez. Baldemar leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of twenty-two years, Linda Moreno of Kingsville; six sons: Balde (Laura ) Moreno of Riviera, Texas, Oscar Moreno of Premont, Texas, Eloy Omar Moreno of San Diego, California, Gus Hinojosa, Albert (Vanessa) Hinojosa, Alonso (Christina) Hinojosa all of Kingsville; two daughters, Rose (Omar) Naranjo and Emma Moreno both of Kingsville; twenty-two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters: Soila (Jesse) Cantu of El Campo, Texas, Diana (Luis) Arevalo of Falfurrias, Texas, Imelda (Alejos) Perez and Sylvia (Dario) Garcia both of Kingsville; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be Friday, March 23, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.
