A native of Squibb, Kentucky, Mr. Woodall was born on August 30, 1944 the son of the late William Warren Woodall, Sr. and the late Iva Belle McIntyre Woodall. He moved to Tennessee in 1965. Prior to retirement, Mr. Woodall was employed with Eastman for 32 years and with W.S.I. Security at BAE Industries for seven and half years. He proudly served his country serving in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division. Mr. Woodall also served as a volunteer fire fighter for the Bloomingdale VFD. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a niece, Amy Marie Woodall and by his mother-in-law, Mrs. Venus G. Kimbler, by sister & brother-in-law, Tommy & Novell Morelock and by brothers-in-law Bill Dingus and infant Woodrow Kimbler, Jr.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 47 years, Mrs. Billie Jean Kimbler Woodall. Two daughters and sons-in-laws; Rhonda & Michael Burris of N.C. and Vicky & K.C. Peppers of Florida. One son and daughter-in-law; Mark & Amy Woodall of Kingsport. Grandchildren; Zachary Burris, Cheyenne Woodall, Brooklyn Woodall, Autumn Murdock, Alex Murdock. One brother, Ralph (Gwenda) Woodall. His father-in-law, Mr. Woodrow Kimbler. Five sisters-in-law, Emelene Peters (Henry), Evelyn Conkin (Earl) Helen Crawford (Michael), Jo Ann Dingus, and Sue Robinson (L.C.). Brothers-in-law, Lloyd Kimbler, Johnny Kimbler and Harold (Jackie) Kimbler. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
Graveside services for Mr. Woodall will be conducted on Wednesday December 26, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh officiating. Military rites will be presented by the American Legion Color Guard.
Those desiring to attend services should assemble at the East Lawn Memorial Park on Wednesday at 12:45 p.m.
