Sheri Ann Irvin Kern

Mrs. Sheri Irvin Kern, age 47 passed away on Thursday November 28, 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia. A native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Mrs. Kern was born on September 23, 1966 the daughter of Joyceann Stevens Irvin and the late Harry Allen Irvin. She was employed as a supply chain analyst with Eastman. Mrs. Kern was preceded in death by her father, Harry Allen Irvin on February 7, 2013. She was married on April 23, 1993 to Michael E. Kern who survives. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Michael E. Kern. One son, Joshua Allen Kern. Her beloved Maltese, Shuggar. Her mother, Mrs. Joyceann S. Irvin. Two brothers, Herbert Allen (Deborah) Irvin and Jason Stevens (Tara) Irvin. Nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Kern will be conducted on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 7 p.m. from the chapel of the East

Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Anderson officiating. Burial will follow on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. from the family lot of the Gunnings Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home and at other hours may be contacted at the home of her mother, Mrs. Joyceann Irvin.
