She was born to the late William G. Clark, Sr. and Lily May Clark, of Midway, KY on December 29,1949. Sarah will be remembered as a God fearing woman who loved life and making others smile. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Sarah was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a former Special Education teacher with Sullivan County Schools. Sarah loved to sing in the choir at church and help teach the children in their Awana program. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William G. Clark, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are: husband Stewart Blair, Daughters: Elizabeth Fellers and husband Brian, Sarah Jones and husband Brian; Granddaughters Natalie Fellers and Katelyn Jones; sister Mary McBurney and husband Gene; Brother Patrick Clark and wife Cathy; as well as several nieces and nephews along with many special friends.
The Blair family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Tuesday, July 11, from 12-2 pm in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with special friend Todd Austin officiating.
