Rosemary Edna Huff, 88, passed away on Monday (April 24, 2018) at her home surrounded by her loving family. Rosemary was a wife and mother of great strength, character, kindness and love. She loved life, and life loved her. Now the angels do also.
Early in her life, Rosemary worked as a production worker, later she became a photo processing technician. All of her co-workers all loved her. Rosemary loved history and reveled in the beauty of America, traveling often and relocating the family from the East coast to the West coast in 1962. Never at a loss for memories, she tracked an almost 89-year journey in photos and videos. She loved to read at the beach while her toes flirted with the waves. She enjoyed playing cards and drinking wine with friends and family. She loved to sew, making clothes and gifts for her children and grandchildren.
Rosemary’s glass was always half-full; she saw the goodness in the world and the people around her. She had deep Christian values and was always the first in line to lend a helping hand.
Left to cherish her memory are her five children which she adored, Richard Parks & wife Nancy, David Huff & wife Susan, William Huff & wife Susan, Charles Huff & wife Wendy, and daughter, Vicky Witherow & wife Deborah; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, which she spent as much time with as she could. She never missed a baseball game without a treat of Jell-O, and whipped cream for the grandkids.
Rosemary will be laid to rest with her beloved husband of 68 years, Leslie Francis Huff on Friday (April 27, 2018) at 1 p.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Avenue, Mountain Home, TN 37684). A committal service will be held with Chaplain Ryan Wagoner officiating.
