He was a good father, Papaw, brother, and friend, who never met a stranger. Ron worked as a contractor at Eastman Chemical until his retirement. He had also recently professed his faith in Christ.
Ron is precede in death by his wife, Peggy Dean; parents, Hazel Mae and Jess Ballard Dean; brother, Henry Dean; sister, Mandy Burton; and daughter-in-law, Gerri Horner Dean
He is survived by his son, Chad Dean and girlfriend Tina Morrison; grandson, Jaxen Dean; sisters, Peggy Burke and husband, Don, and Martha Osborne; several nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at East Lawn Funeral Home with funeral services following at 7:00 pm with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating and special music provided by Jamie, Joe and Lori Lane.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Tuesday May 22, 2018 at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Faith. For those who are attending, please arrive by 10:45 am.
