Norman served in the Unites States Navy and retired from J.P. Stevens after 35 years of dedicated service. Norman was a very special caregiver to his deceased wife Beulah, brother-in-law, Napolean Gilliam as well as his special friend, Frank Fugate. Norman was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend; he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his loving wife Beulah; brothers, Andrew Caldwell, Whitey Caldwell, and Clarence Caldwell; and sister, Loualla Lawson.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Judy Moneyhun & husband Bill; granddaughter, Rachel Moneyhun; great-granddaughter, Riley Light; three brothers, Charles Caldwell, Bobby Caldwell, and Jimmy Caldwell; special neighbors, Bill & Betty Shelton and Virgil & Katie Hall; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Norman will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife on Tuesday (February 27, 2018) at 2 p.m. in the Garden of the Apostles at East Lawn Memorial Park with military rites provided by American Legion Posts 3/265.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Moneyhun, Larry Gilliam, Michael Gilliam, Stanley Frady, Charles Caldwell, and Dave Frady. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Shelton and Virgil Hall.
