Marilyn "Nana" Coffelt Lynch, age 78, of Cypress Ca, currently residing in Blountville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 20th 2021. Marilyn Mae Koss was born February 14th, 1943 in San Francisco, Ca. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Koss jr, mother RuthAnn Sallee Koss, her brother Richard and sister Margie. She was also widowed due to illness by her husband of 47 years Gary Norman Coffelt.
She is survived by her loving husband Thomas Dennis Lynch, children Gregory Allen Coffelt, Gloria Carol Lay, and Jennifer Arredondo. As well as 8 grand children, 15 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way! Knowing how big her heart is, the Lord blessed her with 3 additional children whom she loved as her own, Cherie Davis, Krista Ruesga, and Tommy Lynch. Along with many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren!
Nana loved the Lord with all that she was and never met a stranger. She lived her faith out by example. She served the homeless in the inner city, she taught Sunday school, she worked in prison ministry, she ministered on television on TBN or as we grew up knowing it as channel 40, as a prayer operator, and teacher. She was involved in women’s aglow, and was always very involved in her church family. She was always ministering to or mentoring someone.
Her life was a tapestry woven by Gods hand to reach beyond herself and her family, she was a willing vessel in whatever he put before her. She made sure there was not a soul that crossed her path that she didn’t share salvation with.
She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all whom she ministered to.
