Margie Irene Ferguson

Margie Irene (McMurry) Ferguson, age 75 of Kingsport, passed into eternal rest during the morning hours of Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Irene was born to the late Elmer & Annie (Taylor) McMurry on Ocotober 19, 1940 in Kingsport,Tennessee. Margie enjoyed working at flea markets and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her positive inspiration and uplifting personality. She will be greatly missed by all. Margie is survived by her loving son, Sammy Lee Ferguson & wife Pam; three grandchildren, Brittany Dean, Brandie Hobbs, and Tony Marshall; five great-grandchildren, Connor, Brayden, Zachary, Braxton, and Peyton; two sisters, Peggy Dingus and Carolyn Ducker; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 12:00 to: 2:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. immediately following visitation in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with special speaker Johnny Copas and Pastor Vern Hall officiating. The family will receive friends anytime at the home of Sammy Lee & Pam Ferguson. Graveside service will be on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Garden of the Mausoleum of East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
