Lola Berneice Robinson, 93 entered into the loving arms of Jesus during the morning hours of Thursday (March 5, 2020) surrounded by her loving family. Berneice was born on April 17, 1926 in Roda, VA to the late John Franklin & Effie Mae (Garber) Williams.
Berneice was a dedicated member of Harmony Baptist Church since 1990. She enjoyed going to yard sales and pawn shops. Berneice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend; she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents Berniece was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Robinson; son, Terry Lee Robinson; two brothers, R.L. Williams and John Carroll; and four sisters, Gladys Richards, Sarah Talley, Ann Greer, and Betty McCoy;
Left to cherish her memories are sister-in-law, Helen Williams; granddaughter, Leah Robinson; two great-grandchildren, Kaila Welch and Nakoa Welch; special niece and caregiver, Charlotte Richards; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday (March 7, 2020) from 12 to 2 p.m. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve Pate officiating.
Berniece will be laid to rest on Saturday (March 7, 2020) at 3 p.m. in the Garden of Everlasting Life III at East Lawn Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her niece and caregiver whom Berniece chose to live her lasting days with, Charlotte Richards; four great-nieces and caregivers, Janet Crumbley, Belinda Cox, Susan Reed, and Pam Casey; and Amedisys Hospice (Ashley and Lexy).
