Kathy Jane Hickman, 61, passed away during the early morning hours of Tuesday (October 15, 2019) following an extended illness. Kathy was born on January 2, 1958 in Kingsport, TN to the late Charles Perry & Ninnie Ilene (Morelock) Hickman.
Kathy enjoyed bring people together, shopping, and traveling. Kathy was a loving daughter, sister, and friend; she will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Ann Sturgill.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Ricky Hickman & wife Kathy; brother-in-law, Johnny Sturgill; “fur babies”, Sidney and Bailey; special friends, Debra & Joe Moody; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Friday (October 25, 2019) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Oscar Irvin officiating.
