James a talented musician, who could play just about anything. He especially enjoyed playing his grandfather’s guitar with his friends. His family and friends described him as being a free spirit, who was silly, goofy, fearless, and enjoyed getting dirty. Besides his love of music, James, enjoyed being a mechanic and figuring out how something worked. He loved life and was loved by all and considered all a friend.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Brittney Watkins and his grandfather, Franklin Wallace.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, James and Tawnia Watkins; sisters, Megan Watkins and Sabrina Price; brothers, McKenzie Keeton, Peyton Blevins, and Adam Miller; girlfriend, Crystal Peterson; grandparents, Lillie Wallace and Marlene and Teddy Stanley; Great Grandmother, Emma Jean Beverley. Several aunts, uncles, special cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 10:00 to 12:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00pm, officiated by Pastor David Foster.
James will be laid to rest following the service at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Everlasting Life III.
Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Miller, Michael Stanley, Shawn Wallace, Samuel Beverley, Daniel Cabrera, and Dustin Faulkner. Honorary pallbearers will include, McKenzie Keeton and Peyton Blevins.
