Hazel Chase Eldridge, 89, of Kingsport passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, in the Holston Manor. Mrs. Eldridge was born on August 16, 1925 in Sullivan County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Hubert S. Chase and Eulah Cox Chase. She was retired from Belk and was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Eldridge was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Eldridge; and one brother, Lenville Chase. Survivors include her son, Dennis Eldridge; one brother, Denzil Chase and wife Gerry; one sister, Zenda Byers; and a special niece and nephew, Vickie and Duane Bellamy. A private graveside service for Mrs. Hazel Eldridge will be held in the Garden of the Apostles at East Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Charity of Choice.
