Passed away on June 14, 2023 at Holston Valley Hospital unexpectedly after a period of declining health.
He enjoyed good food, family time and shop talk after many years of building and painting cars. He retired from Bill Gatton Chevrolet in Bristol, VA. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, and pappy.
He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Malcom Floyd; and father, Jerry O. Floyd.
Those left to cherish his memory are: his wife of almost 23 years, Julie Floyd; his mother, Sandra Floyd; his daughters, Ashley Floyd Elliot, Amber Ray, and Tyler Ledford; his seven grandchildren: Denver, Emmy, Bailee, Karter, Olivia, Kansada, and Priscilla; sisters, Anita Floyd Gibson, Anissa Floyd Carter; along with several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and his special friend, Richard Ramey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at East Lawn Funeral Home on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 6 -8pm in the Chapel.
