Flora Bell Hutchins, 93, of Kingsport, departed this world and went to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 13, 2015. Born on February 26, 1922 in Scott County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Willie Mitchell and Eliza Smith Mitchell. She was a life-long resident of Kingsport and a member of New Life Church of God. In addition to her parents, Willie and Eliza Mitchell, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Hutchins; two brothers and four sisters; five infant sons; daughters, Virginia Collins and Patsy Stiner; daughter-in-law, Linda Hutchins; and granddaughter, Nakiesha Sams. She is survived by her son, William Hutchins of Jonesville, VA; daughters, Mary Hall and Brenda Hood, both of Kingsport; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Hutchins and husband, Ralph of Kingsport, Juanita Cook and husband, Harold of Mt. Carmel, Lena Davis and husband, Ellis of Cedartown, GA; and brother, Tom Mitchell and wife, Ann of Greene County, TN. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, June 16, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with the Reverend Larry Knowles officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the Garden of David at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Jeremy Moles, Brett Hood, Austin Ramsey, Chris Murray, Gary Collins and Carroll Collins.
