Edith Carroll

She was the daughter of the late Marshall Ray and Helen Mowell Bledsoe. She was born on June 25, 1952 along with her brother Everett and sister Evelyn. They were the first set of triplets born in Kingsport.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Dale Carroll, brother, Everett Bledsoe, sisters: Evelyn Larkins and infant Kathy Sue and nephew, Chris Larkins.

Left to cherish her memory are sisters: Karen Bledsoe and Hope Chase. Nieces: Misty Vaughn (Travis) and Holly Crawford (Marcus); nephews: Dewayne Chase and Eric Bledsoe (Dorothy), and Phillip Bledsoe. Great nieces and nephews: T.J., Marissa, Madelyn, Conner and Dillon. Sister-in-law: Tina Bledsoe. Special cousins: Kathy Benton and Brenda McGathey, along with a host of other cousins. Special friend: Betty Quillen.

The family would like to thank the staff of Gentiva Hospice and Orchard View Nursing Home for the care they provided for Edith.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow in East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Mitch Russell officiating.
