Dorothy Carroll, 94, of Kingsport, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 5, 2023. She was born to the late Paul and Lola (Cope) Bellamy. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we rejoice knowing she was reunited with her loving husband, Bob, and we take comfort in knowing we will meet again.
Dorothy was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She was adventurous and loved camping and spending time in nature. Dorothy was blessed with artistic traits and made beautiful ceramic artwork and painted them in delicate patterns. Overall, she loved Jesus and was a devoted member at Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church and enjoyed worshiping daily by reading her Bible.
Along with her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert (Bob) H. Carroll; sister, Betty Jo Carver; brother, Robert Bellamy; and great-grandson, Parker McManis.
Those left to cherish her memory are: her son, Mike Carroll (Kim); sister, Peggy Bowman; grandchildren, Steven Carroll (Becky), Stephany McManis; great-grandchildren, Hunter Carroll, Bryson Carroll, Bailey France, Aiden McManis; special friends, Grace Darnell, Helen Childress (who also was her loving sister-in-law); along with several nieces and nephews.
