David graduated from Sullivan Central High School in 1978 and was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church.
David worked at Lake View Dock on South Holston Lake for 20 years. He was a very talented "master mechanic" that always had new and innovative ideas. Each Fourth of July, he would look forward to orchestrating his spectacular "on the lake" fireworks celebration that left everyone who viewed it in awe. His work was always more than just a job to him because he truly thought of everyone he worked with as family. David also was a late bloomer at gardening, but he definitely loved to share the fruits of his labor with his family and friends. He also had a fondness for his Purple Martins, preparing and hanging gourds for them every year.
David is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Gay Reynolds Bryant; two sons, Mason,19 yrs old; Jason
Bryant and his wife Melissa; one daughter Leah Bryant; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; one brother, Sidney Bryant and wife Donna; one sister in law, Beth Bryant; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; also his parents Jeff and Margaret Bryant.
David was preceded in death by his sister Jo Ann Bryant and brother Roger Bryant.
