Daren Scott Skeen, 38, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2020 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a loving son, brother, and nephew. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Daren was a Christian, having been saved in Mountain City, TN. After his passing, Daren gifted his organs so that others may live.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Skeen; brother, Dennis Skeen; and sister, Wanda Moore.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Shirley Skeen; brother, Steve Skeen and wife Rachel; sister, Penny Canter; and best friend Charlie Kinsler.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Mikel Caywood officiating.
His mother will receive friends at any time at her residence.
Daren will be laid to rest following the funeral service at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of the Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Xavier Cain, Jeffery Dingus, Kyle Dingus, Darris Dingus, Ronald Russell, and Charlie Kinsler.
