Christine Moore

Christine L. “ Chris” Moore, age 89, entered into rest August 31, 2012 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Burnsville, Mississippi, Chris was a resident of Kingsport for 56 years. She was an active member of Colonial Height Baptist Church. Chris was retired from serving as the church secretary at Colonial Heights. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Lucille Foote Locke; her husband, James O. “Jim” Moore and son in law Randall Blair. Survivors include her son, Mark Moore and wife Linda of Kingsport; daughter, Sheryl Blair of Duluth, Ga.; grandson, Tyler Moore of Kingsport. The family will receive friends Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 7:00 in the chapel. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at East Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Heights Baptist Church Mission Funds.
