Charles Bernard Smith, Jr., 73, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015, at the Indian Path Medical Center. Mr. Smith was born on November 22, 1941 in Beckley, West Virginia, the son of the late Charles Bernard Smith, Sr., and Alma Jane Smith. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lynn Smith; one daughter, Suzanne Smith and special friend Abel Pena; one sister, Carolyn Stonecipher; nieces and nephews, Charlene Wilder(Mark), Gregg Stonecipher(Kim), Greta Horne(Kevin) and Pam Hofius; and several great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Smith’s wishes were to be cremated and no public services will be held.
