Barney Everett Robinson

Barney Everett Robinson, 82, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mr. Robinson was born on August 18, 1931 in Coeburn, Virginia the son of the late Oakley Robinson and Silva Hamilton Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a retired coal truck driver. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Carter, Clyde, James, Herrell and Darrell Robinson. Mr. Robinson is survived by one son, Rick Robinson; four daughters, Julie Welch, Cynthia Robinson, Stephanie Young and husband Ken and Kimberly Lytle and husband Kelce; ten grandchildren, Dale Welch, Aaron Robinson, Hunter Robinson, Samantha Cook, Kerri Ronda, Kennedy Young, Lauren Stroupes, Bria Lytle, Brittany Lytle and Aleigha Robinson; two great grandchildren, Aubree Lytle and Gabriel Robinson; one sister, Delma Lee; special buddy, Jamie Hartsock; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Barney Everett Robinson will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 2:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Kay Lee officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Garden of Memories of East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friend’s Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in the East Lawn Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
