Ann Elizabeth Bright

Ann Mueller Bright, 80, of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Ms. Bright was born May 26, 1934, in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of the late Paul Mueller and Elizabeth Bissells Mueller. During her lifetime, Ms. Bright was employed as a Loan Officer with Myrtle Beach Federal Credit Union (Myrtle Beach, SC). She also volunteered at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center (Kingsport, TN). Ms. Bright was also an active member of East Lawn Funeral Home’s LIFT group where she had many special friends and acquaintances. In addition to her parents, Ms. Bright is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Troy L. Bright. Survivors of Ann Mueller Bright include her sister and brother-in-law, Monika Wefer and husband Gert (Germany); stepmother, Margot Mueller (Germany); sisters-in-law, Juanita Tupper (Kingsport, TN), Roma Fink and husband Haynes (Kingsport, TN), and Shirley Fink-Marsden (Kingsport, TN); nieces and nephews, Anja Szymanski, Silke Wefer, Bob Tupper, Kathy Goodman, Todd Tupper, Jennifer Fink Angle; several other great nieces, nephews, and family members; special friend, Jack Satterfield; special pet, Lovey.

The family of Ann Bright will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at East Lawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015 in the Garden of Peace I of East Lawn Memorial Park. Teaching Pastor, Tony Bleckley, of Christ Fellowship, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Bob Tupper, Josh Tupper, Todd Tupper, Dale Goodman, Fred Bartley, Dewey Bright, and Randy Meade. Honorary pallbearers will be Kirk Branson, Haynes Fink, Alvie Bright, and Grady Bright. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Stanley Gall and the ICU nurses and staff at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center and also to all the special friends and neighbors who supported and cared for Ms. Bright during her time of need.
