Agnes Louise Rogers, 72, entered into the loving arms of Jesus during the evening hours of Saturday (September 12, 2020). Agnes was born on April 9, 1948 in Bulls Gap, TN to the late Rankin Eugene & Ometa Louise (Drain) Taylor.
Agnes was a devout woman of faith. She was a member of West View Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, family vacations, and spending time with her family and friends. Agnes was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend; she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Lady; and three brothers, Steve, Rick, and Charles Taylor.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Camallia Hale & husband Jim and Robin Cody & husband Chad; grandson, Austin Hale; two granddaughters, Taylor Hale and Lexy Cody; brother, Larry Taylor & wife Sherry; special nephew, Tim Taylor & wife Loree; two nieces, Tiffany Gordon & husband Aubrey and Michelle Shelton & husband Dustin; great-niece, Charlee Taylor; several great nieces; and a host of friends.
Agnes will be entombed to rest on Thursday (September 17, 2020) at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Stout officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Hale, Chad Cody, Jim Hale, Tim Taylor, Larry Taylor, and Billy Fields.
