Thomas Barker, age 79, of Harker Heights, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. Thomas was born in Melville, Louisiana on March 16, 1943.
Mr. Barker served 26 years in the United States Army. He served during war times in Vietnam and the Persian Gulf. He received many awards, including the Bronze Star. Mr. Barker retired as an E-8, First Sergeant.
Thomas leaves behind his amazing lovely wife of 54 years, Brigitte Barker. He is survived by four sons, Ricky, Marcus, Braunsha and Corey. He is also survived by one grandson Ashton, seven granddaughters and three great grandchildren.
Thomas will always be remembered as a loving husband and a hero with honor and respect.
Graveside services, with Full Military Honors, will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
