Shirley Elizabeth Bishop

Shirley Elizabeth Bishop passed away surrounded by her loving family at 70 years old on September 23, 2022. She was born on May 5, 1952 to Linard Damond Huck and Helga Elizabeth Langer in Marysville, California. Shirley is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years Glen W. Bishop, both parents, and siblings Nancy Kessler and Michael Huck.

She is survived by and was a loving mother to Tammy Beach (Clay) and Christopher Bishop (Sonya) and was also the proud grandma to Michael, Crysten, and Alexis.

Shirley was a proud military spouse who enjoyed traveling around the world and living in different places while supporting her husband’s military service and raising a family. She lived in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Germany before settling in Texas in 1992.

She was a creative and huge-hearted woman. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting, and exploring new places traveling near and far. Her love for cruising led to exploring new places and meeting lifelong friends. Nothing at all could compare to the love and pride she had for her grandchildren.
