Ruben Rivera Rosario, passed away April 9th 2021 at a local Killeen hospital. A native of Puerto Rico, made Killeen TX his home with his wife of more than 50 years Norma Iris Rivera.
He is survived by his widow, three Sons Carlos, Louis and Adam; his only Daughter Johanna; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two younger sisters Lourdes and Mariam Rivera. He is predeceased by his parents Jose Raul and Emma Esther along with his brother Raul Rivera.
Ruben was a true car enthusiast. He had a passion for racing and auto mechanics.
After retiring in 1999 he enjoyed working on his cars, carpentry, dining out and taking drives with his wife.
Ruben served proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam era and was also a member of the DAV of Killeen.
Ruben was a lifelong Pentecostal where he participated in various church activities throughout his life.
He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
