RAYMOND EDWARD GARRISON
Born November 7, 1950, in Hendersonville, North Carolina to Raymond William Garrison, and Betty Mitchell Garrison.
Raymond was called Home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Friday July 15, 2022 after a long battle with Cancer.
Raymond Garrison was a dedicated Husband, Father, Grandfather, and loyal and trusted friend. Raymond passed away peacefully at his home in Killeen, Texas, surrounded by his loving family.
Raymond was one of four siblings including:
*James “Gary” Garrison of Bertram, Texas
*Veta Rebecca Garrison (preceded)
*Patti Garrison Lolley of Buda, Texas
Raymond was a graduate of Bryan High School class of 1967
He pursued a career in Law Enforcement where he was a Police Officer for Nolanville Police Department for 2 years and then moved to be a member of Killeen Police Department for 4 years. After leaving the police force, Raymond opened AIA (Advanced Investigations Association) his own Private Investigation firm for several years before embarking on a long and successful career in IT with Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas from 1996 until his retirement in 2021.
A visitation for Raymond will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Crawford-Bowers Killeen. A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11:00am at Crawford-Bowers Killeen, followed by Interment at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Ray is survived by his 6 Children:
*Raymond Edward Garrison, Son of Bryan, TX.
*Davie Lynn Zak, Daughter, of Salado, TX.
*Raymond William Garrison, Son, of Allen, TX.
*Cherish Anne Garrison, Daughter of Killeen, TX.
*Kelly Marie Johnson, Daughter, of Killeen, TX.
*Adopted Daughter, Melissa Sue Garrison, of Killeen, TX.
Also survived by his 4 Grandchildren: Martha Elizabeth, Marcos Michael, Anthony Ray, and Marissa Marie Garrison.
Ray was preceded in death by his Beloved Wife and best friend, Elizabeth (Betsy) Anne McPherson Garrison, younger sister Veta Rebecca Garrison and both parents; Raymond, and Betty Garrison.
