Raul was born in Puerto Rico and moved to East Harlem, NY when he was 2 years old. He was proud to be a Puerto Rican New Yorker. He retired in 2008 from Isabella Nursing Home as a Nursing Assistant. He is preceded in death by his wife Zoraida Flores who passed away in 2010, and survived by his four children, Raul Flores Jr., Tina Flores-Nevarez, Lizette Flores Colon, and Caroline Flores and 5 grandchildren, Gabriella, Stephanie, Katelyn, Jayla and Jordyn. He loved all sports but really loved baseball and was a Yankees fan. He enjoyed listening to salsa music and oldies. He was a stubborn yet kind and generous man, son, uncle, friend, and beloved father and grandfather, who will be immensely missed.
