Pete moved to New York in 1956, where he resided until he joined the United States Army in 1969. He served his country for 22 years before retiring to Fort Hood (Cavazos), Texas. Pete was an avid bowler and was blessed to have many friends in the Greater Killeen Fort Hood USBC bowling community. He also enjoyed playing bingo, watching baseball and football, and playing cards and dominoes. Pete was a loving father and grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He had an outgoing personality, a wonderful sense of humor, and a giving heart.
Pete was preceded in death by his father, Dominic and his sister, Fernanda.
He is survived by his children and grandchildren. His son, Pete Schirripa Jr and spouse Mary-children James and Caitlin, and his daughter, Christina Schirripa-children Chance and spouse Maryorie, and Justin. He is also survived by one great grandson, Grayson Alvarez. In addition, he is survived by his mother, Clara Schirripa and his siblings, Mary Schirripa Gagnon and spouse Michael, Anna Schirripa Miller and spouse Derrick, Dominic Schirripa Jr, Tom Schirripa and spouse Marge, and Ferdinando Schirripa. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
