Peggy Marie Calvert Buchanan

Mrs. Buchanan passed away on August 5, 2014 in Temple.

She was born to Frank and Lula Newman Calvert in Dallas, Texas on September 28, 1925. She married C.W. Buck Buchanan and raised her family as a military wife.

She was a member of Ladies Aux of VFW 3892 and DAV 22 Ladies Aux. She was active in her community and had been employed at a day care center before retiring.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband C.W. Buck Buchanan and her parents.

Survivors include sons: Ronald Grantland of Phoenix, AZ, Ronald Buchanan of Killeen and Tommy Grantland of Spring, TX, daughters Kim Quinton of Lago Vista, TX and Kath Gaitan of Maxdale; grandchildren Chad Tibbetts, Lacy Gaitan and Ashley Fontenot and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday form 3-5 PM.
