Paul David East

Paul David East, 63, passed away November 17 at Scott & White Continuing Care. A visitation for Mr. East is scheduled for Sunday, November 20 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home, Killeen. Services for Mr. East are scheduled for Tuesday, November 22, at 10:00 am at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home, Killeen with burial to follow at Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery.

Mr. East served in the U. S. Army for over 26 years through the Vietnam Conflict as well as Desert Storm. Among many medals and awards, Mr. East earned the Kuwait Liberation Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, the Valorous Unit Award, The Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, and the Meritorious Unit Commendation.

Preceded in death by his first wife Barbara and son Jonathan, Mr. East is survived by his wife Catarina; a son Christopher (wife Milaida); two stepdaughters, Stephanie Gutierrez and Connie Long; a stepson, Freddie Gutierrez, and two sisters Peggy Isbell and Bobbie Goodrich.
