Patti Anne Monroe, age 69 of Nolanville, passed from this life on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 17, 2022, at First United Methodist Church in Killeen, and Pastor Patricia Warden will officiate. Patti was born on September 9, 1953, in San Angelo, Texas to Neal and Minnie Pearce (Smith). She married Sonny Monroe, on July 29, 1972, in San Angelo, Texas. Sonny and Patti were married for fifty years. The unconditional love the two share is amazing. They took a vow to love each other through sickness and health, richer or poor, and they held onto that commitment through their entire marriage. She had a vivacious personality, a big smile, and was source of encouragement for many people. She never met a stranger and had a giving heart. Patti worked as a school administer for more than 35 years and has touched the lives of many throughout her career that carried on into her retirement where she worked as teacher preceptor. She took on every person she came across as family. Her love for her family was endless and there was not a conversation she had that did not include talking about her husband, daughters, and grandkids that she loved very much.
Patti is preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Minnie Pearce; and 1 brother, Michael Pearce.
She is survived by her husband, Sonny Monroe; her daughter, Lesli Gregory and Daughter and Son in Law; Lesa and Ryan Miles. Her grandchildren, Breanna, Cameron, BJ, Taylor, Tysan, Chloe, Rylan; Brother; Danny Pearce; Brother and sister-in-law Dale and Lana Pearce; Brother Stephen Pearce; Sister, Donna Robinson and significant other David West; with numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to the support throughout Patti’s Journey.
A Visitation for Patti will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 S. Fort Hood Street, Killeen, TX.
