November 14, 1944 to JC and Myrtice Cannon in Anniston, Alabama.
Patricia married the love of her life, Martin F. Morgan Sr. on November 8, 1963. From that day forward, they travelled the world while Martin served in the United States Army. Pat worked in many jobs but retired from working after 27 years in civil service, and finishing as the administrative assistant for Operational Test Command on Fort Hood. She loved her job, but what she loved even more was being a “Dance Mom” and a “Colorguard Grandma.” She loved every child she came in contact with as if they were one of her own.
Patricia was selfless, nurturing, and had a positive outlook in every situation. She enjoyed watching dance and color guard performances, crocheting, and watching the birds from the porch with her husband. She was an animal lover who adopted many pets throughout her life. She loved spending holidays surrounded by family and spending her Sunday mornings with her Sunday School class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, JC and Myrtice Cannon; brothers, Johnny Wayne, Robert, and Jr. and is survived by her husband of 52 years, Martin F. Morgan Sr.,; their children: Myrtice Marie Morgan and Martin F. Morgan Jr., ; three grandchildren: Cheyenne Alannis Turner, Lauren Patricia Morgan, and Austin F. Morgan; and brothers, Douglas Leroy Cannon and Dale Chappell.
The family would like to acknowledge the teams on STC 2 and in the ICU who cared for Patricia, for their endless effort, compassion, and professionalism in her final days. We would also like to thank Dr. Randy Wallace for accompanying the family at the hospital as we said goodbye.
