Norman J Cote

Mass of Christian Burial for Norman J. Cote, 82, of Harker Heights will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 2nd, at St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church in Harker Heights followed by burial at 1:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

He passed away on Thursday, Nov 26, 2015 in a Temple, Texas Hospital.

Norman was born in Nashua, NH on April 6, 1933, the son of the late Edward and Helen (O’Brien) Cote. He is survived by his wife, Cecile (Lapierre) Cote. He was raised and educated in Nashua, NH. Norman was pre-deceased by his two sisters, Gabrielle Bourglas and Rachel Poirier.

Norman was a retired disabled veteran of the United States Air Force and served as a musician in the Air Force band. Norman is survived by two sons, Michael Cote of Ogunquit, Maine and Steven Cote and his wife Andrea of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Kristen Goldsack and her husband Scott of Newhall, California and Karen Blackwood and her husband Steve of Newburyport, MA; two step-daughters Patricia Sahli and her husband Ryszard of Niderkirchen, Germany and Lisa Cuzziere and her husband Robert of Westford, MA.; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at St. Paul Chong Hasang Church in Harker Heights, Texas on Wednesday, December 2nd from 10 am- 11:00 AM, prior to the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled Veterans or the Harker Heights food pantry.
