Mike was a strong, laughing, proud person who enjoyed a close relationship with his son and daughter. Mike was a US Army Veteran, serving proudly from 1981 until honorably discharged in 1984. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed a passion of dove hunting with close friends and all that it entailed. Mike was also an unwavering Chicago Cubs fan who followed them tirelessly since 1968. He was recently retired from The City of Killeen, where he worked as a Sign Crew Supervisor since September 1998 and fostered countless friendships and lifetime relationships. He will be missed by many, but his legacy, his infectious smile and laughter, and the fond memories of him will be with us always.
A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen.
