

Funeral services for Mariano R. Laureta, 79, of Harker Heights, will be 2 pm Thursday, March 22, 2012 at St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Killeen City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 pm to 8 pm with a Rosary recited at 7 pm.
Mr. Laureta passed away Thursday, March 15th at his home.
Mariano was born October 9, 1932 in Pangasinan, Philippines to Santiago S. and Candida Rodrigo Laureta.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Roberto Laureta in 2001; brother, Miguel Laureta and three sisters, Dafrosa Ramirez, Remegia Palmares and Jesusa Rodrigo.
Survivors include his wife, Cresencia Laureta of Harker Heights; a son, Leodegario (Elizabeth) Laureta of Philippines; two daughters, Alma (Albert) Eclavea of Harker Heights and Agnes (Alfie) Alfaro of Philippines; and daughter in law Norma Laureta of the Philippines; brother, Ludovico Laureta; two sisters, Anita L. deSantos and Lourdes L. Evangelista, all of Seattle, Washington; seven grandsons and six granddaughters, Ronald Jason (Sheryll) Laureta, Rochelle Joyce Laureta, Rachelyn Joy Laureta, Robert Laureta, Jr.; Allyson Eclavea, Alvin Eclavea, Alleksys Eclavea; Frances Margaux Mae Laureta; Niel Joseph Alfaro, Charmaine Alfaro, Allysa Alfaro, Robin Alfaro and Frances Anthony Alfaro and one great grandson, Gregorio Alfaro.
