Funeral services Margarete O. Keefe, 65, of Killeen will be 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Rev. Darrell McWhorter will officiate. Mrs. Keefe will be buried at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Keefe passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 07, 2011.
Margarete was born on November 21, 1945 in Germany to Karl and Annie (Heineke) Opfer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen R. Keefe on September 22, 2008 and by her parents, two brothers, Kurt and Utto Opfer and a sister, Annie Opfer.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Keefe of Liberty, Missouri and John Keefe of Killeen; two daughters, Patricia Hollon of Bishop California and Christina Cassell of Killeen; a brother, Karl Opfer of Germany; six grandchildren, Jennifer Keefe, Rachel Keefe, Dustin Hollon, Michael Cassell, Jessica Cassell and Annabelle Hollon.
