Lyle enlisted into the United States Army where he served his country, retiring after 20 years as a Finance Senior Sergeant. After retiring from the Army, he worked in the Civil Service arena and retired after 20 years of service as a Finance Manager.
Lyle loved sports. You could catch him watching and playing basketball, football, and baseball in which he did for the United States Army. He was an avid fisherman and taught many to fish and enjoy the sport.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Nilda; children, Cheri and Galen; 3 Sisters and 3 Brothers; 7 Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Lyle was preceded in death by his Mother, Nobue Sumida and his Father, Taketoshi Marumoto.
