Lawrence C. Scott

Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen with Rev. George Vezquez officiating.

Burial will follow in the Killeen City Cemetery.

Mr. Scott went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2010 in a Temple hospital.

Lawrence was born May 6, 1929 in Brown County, Ohio to Robert E. and Eva M. (Volmer) Scott.

He married Carolyn M. Gates on July 22, 1971. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and good friend to many.

He retired as a truck driver from McLane Southwest.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Scott of Killeen; two sons, Randy C. Scott and Michael Scott both of Manchester, Ohio; two daughters, Bonnie A. Hensley of West Union, Ohio and Amy M. Scott-Mills of Killeen; three sisters, Nettie Cassidy and Dora McKee, both of Dayton, Ohio and Mary Nicodemus of Portland, IN., 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
