Landon was raised in Killeen where he grew up with a loving family and lots of friends. Landon participated in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Landon loved to play sports and participated in baseball, football, basketball, while attending school at Nolan Middle School and Ellison High School where he was a 2008 Eagle graduate. Landon’s favorite sport was fishing. He started fishing at a very young age and became very efficient at it while getting the opportunity to teach his son his skills.
Landon’s greatest love in life was his son, Easton. He spent all the time possible fishing with him, teaching Easton his love of sports, and everything else that he knew. He loved working with his hands and became very good at building and repairing things. He would always be doing little things around the house, on his truck, for his sister and for others. Landon enjoyed family and brought immense joy to them. He would always be with family on every trip and vacation no matter what he was doing. Landon was known for his unwavering kind heart, being a friend to all, and giving the shirt off his back.
Landon is survived by his son Easton Lower, parents Michael and Jennifer Lower, sister Kelsi Lower, maternal grandmother Edith Odom, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a devoted son, supportive brother, and loving father. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories we shared will forever remain in our hearts. Landon will be deeply missed and remembered for his infectious laughter, goofiness, kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
