Kathy Lorraine Choats

Funeral services for Kathy Choats, 61, of Harker Heights will be on Friday, February 25 at 10 AM at Crawford-bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. Burial will follow at Killeen Memorial Park with Rev. Jack T. Riley officiating.

Mrs. Choats passed away in Temple on February 22, 2011. She was born at Robeline, LA on January 7, 1950 and moved to Texas at a young age.

She was reared and educated in the Killeen area and was employed as a nurse at Scott & White Hospital for more than 31 years. She married John Choats on July 3, 1979.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Florence Hawkins, a son Michael Heiman, a brother Brian Hawkins and a sister Sandra Markham. Survivors include her husband John Choats, son John Kenneth Choats, daughter Jacquline Choats, 4 brothers Conly Markham, dennis Markham, Barry Hawkins, and Duane Markham.
