Karon Cowan

Funeral services will be held at Nolanville First United Methodist, March 24, 2025, at 300 West Ave I Nolanville, TX at 11:00am with three pastors officiating.

Karon was born in Riverside, CA to Lee Roy and Carita Underwood on August 16, 1948. She married Charles Michael Cowan on February 25, 1983, in Canoga Park, CA.

She went to school at Antelope Valley High School. Karon earned her CPA license in Jan. 1983 and then earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland in 1995. (really!)

She worked as a CPA for many years, making partner with Fishman, Block and Company.

She participated in several philanthropic organizations including, Beta Sigma Phi, Order of the Eastern Star, Nolanville Faith Outreach Center Clinic, and a member of the Nolanville First United Methodist Church.

Karon is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Michael Underwood.

Karon is survived by her husband, Michael Cowan of 43 years; her son Scott Richardson and his daughter Sydney Richardson-Tristan; sisters Starla Rae Whitney and Deborah Cleare.

Donations in memory may be directed to the Nolanville Faith Outreach Center Clinic in memory of Karon Cowan.
