Judith Mary Johnson, 77 of Harker Heights, Texas passed away July 17, 2017 at Indian Oaks Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, July 21, 2017 at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, Killeen, Texas. Inurnment will be August 1, 2017 at 10:30am at Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery, Willmar, MN. Judith was born on May 23, 1940 in Willmar, MN. Judith was the oldest of eight children. She had four brothers, Marlin, Randall, Gregory and Bradley and three sisters, Deborah, Jeanne and Paula. She graduated from Willmar High School in 1958. She married Marlin Clarence Johnson on September 29, 1962 at the Presbyterian Church in Willmar, MN. Together they were blessed with two children. One son named Steven and one daughter named Nancy. She was also blessed with 3 granddaughters, Naomi, Kya and Asia. Judith was a dedicated homemaker who loved painting ceramics. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church. She was also involved with the Blue Star Mothers, Women’s Circle Group, Quilters, DFL and worked on the Advent festival committee. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marlin, and brothers Marlin and Randall. Judith is survived by her son, Steven, daughter Nancy and husband Richard and granddaughters, Naomi, Kya and Asia. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, or the Camp Allen scholarship Fund through St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Killeen, Texas.
